ODF Scholarship Recipients 10 Years Later!

Old Dominion Foundation, Incorporated (ODF) is highlighting their scholarship recipients 10 Year later! Calvin Parson, Jr.

Calvin Parson, Jr. - ODC Scholarship Recipients 10 Years Later! Currently, I am serving as the Director of Community & Charitable Programs for the Washington Football Team, helping to oversee all community relations and charitable programming activation with the team after having previously served as a Manager and Coordinator in the same capacity.

In my current role, I have helped coordinate and implement community engagement events and programs for team staff, Alumni, players, coaches and members of our local community, working closely with non-profit partners and school districts on implementation strategies.

My time at James Madison University was well-spent and I would not be where I am today without the opportunities that I was given as an undergrad Sport & Recreation Management student. I am forever grateful to the Old Dominion Chapter of the Links for awarding me the scholarship and for helping me achieve my educational and, ultimately, career goals.
